Morrison Police Reports 10-17-05

On October 12, 2005, at approximately 4:23 p.m., Morrison Police investigated a two-vehicle accident in the 200 block of West Main Street. Vehicles driven by Teah M. Shirk, 21, Morrison, and Justine R. Adolph, 16, Morrison struck each other while backing up from parking stalls. Damage was in excess of $500.00. No citations were issued.

On October 13, 2005, at 11:16 a.m., Mike Cady, Morrison, reported that his vehicle had been struck while parked on the street overnight. The other vehicle left the scene without leaving any information or calling the Police Department. Anyone with any information can call the Morrison Police Department.

On October 14, 2005, at approximately 3:42 p.m. Morrison Police Department arrested Julie R. Vegter, 31, Morrison on a warrant for Manufacturing-Delivery of 01-15 grams of Cocaine. Vegter was subsequently incarcerated at the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center in lieu of $2,500.00 cash bond. Vegter is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On October 15, 2005, at approximately 9:29 a.m. Morrison Police Department cited Shawn M. Milnes, 19, Morrison on a charge of Driving While License Suspended. Milnes was in the 200 block of West Lincolnway when he was stopped by Police for operating a motorcycle without eye protection. Milnes was released on a Notice To Appear. Milnes is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
