Downtown Halloween Parade

Princesses, devils, and witches are sure to be seen at Morrison’s downtown Halloween Parade to be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005. Line up will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Community State Bank’s drive-up windows for judging. A Morrison Police car leads the parade down Main Street at 1:30 p.m. The first 200 participants receive free treat bags with candy, Dairy Queen and Hardees certificates, and other surprises.

Winners will be announced at Morrison Post Office after the parade. Winning age groups are: 0-3 years, 4-7 years, and 8-12 years but all ages are welcome to participate. The annual parade is sponsored by The Morrison Chamber of Commerce and Cottonwood 4-H club. Prizes and candy are donated by area businesses.

Arnie's Spookhouse for Kids will be held at the Asylum of MAD Dreams after the parade. It is "toned down" for kids and is meant to be fun, not scary. Admission is a donation and this year everything donated will be given to the The Big Dig, Friends of Swimming’s project to deepen Morrison’s High School’s Swimming Pool.

Plan to attend and see all of the ghosts and goblins!!!
