1st Annual Bunker Hill Art Fair Saturday!

The first annual arts fair held locally in Morrison will be Saturday October 8, 2005.

Ruth Eshelman along with Deb Schaver have been working hard to put on this first ever type of art show in the Morrison area.Ruth stated:"Deb and I have wanted to do this for some time and now we're going to do it!" Ruth will be displaying her watercolor prints and dried flower votives while Deb is showcasing her victorian jewelry, silk flower arrangements and also watercolors.

Included in the artists showing their own works are local artist legend Mae Domack with her watercolor prints, Sandy and Elisa Rideout from Morrison with hand loomed rag rugs, Sarah Bull with her handmade jewelry, Bonnie Temperley from Clinton, Iowa with watercolors and pastel paintings, Steve Siefken from Morrison with his photography, Jeff Steele with his paintings in enamel and Pam Green from Erie with her stepping stones with inlaid glass.

Some of the artists will be donating their proceeds to their churches and mission outreach programs.There are refreshments and cookies available and plenty of time to enjoy demonstrations from the artists.

Located just to the East of Morrison on the farm of Ruth and Roger Eshelman at 18521 Bunker Hill Road. Watch for the signs posted and if you need directions simply call 815-772-3140. The artists are showing their works Saturday October 8 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
