Mainstreet Market Manager Elizabeth Fischbach has everything you want to satisfy your taste buds with the grand re-opening of their deli on Morrison's Main Street.Owners Terry and Ruth Hoehn of Morrison are welcoming customers into the deli style restaurant. Open for about two weeks and Elizabeth and her staff of eight are enjoying a steady return of customers. "We are pleased with our lunch group and are encouraging people to come in and try our breakfast offerings" stated Elizabeth.The deli is open seven days a week from 7AM until 3PM and Elizabeth is there everyday. When asked how she manages her time she replied "very carefully". The most popular sandwich is the Tuscan, which is ham, salami, provolone & Swiss cheese with basil pesto sauce on grilled Ciabatta bread for just $3.79. Condiments available are horse radish, mayo, mustard, basil, pesto sauce and BBQ sauce. There is a Kids Meals available where you can order a small deli sandwich, a hot dog with chips or grilled cheese with chips.Seating is available including outdoor tables in good weather or carry out if you call ahead.Elizabeth informed us that on November 1, Mainstreet Market will be offering home delivery with your order of at least 3 deli sandwiches. Elizabeth is particularly proud of their made from scratch cinnamon rolls. She makes the dough each late afternoon and allows it to rise during the night and she bakes them fresh each morning. The breakfast menu also includes muffins and bagels (plain or flavored cream cheese) or toasted English muffins served plain or with choice of jelly.Try a cup of fresh coffee, either flavor of the day or the "bottomless in house brew".They also serve latte', cappuccino, cafe mocha and chai tea latte and carry herbal teas.A real popular drink for young and more mature tastes are the fruit smoothies, served in strawberry, 4 berry or lemonade flavors. Elizabeth says " I have been in the food handling business for 12 years and enjoy meeting my customers and getting to know them, if we do our job they will come back and get to know us better".Watch for some special holiday gift baskets closer to the Christmas holidays which will contain coffees, teas, flavored syrup and gift certificates. Call ahead to place an order for easy pickup at 772-9022. Their address is 119 East Main Street.
