One Vehicle Roll Over Sends Person to Hospital

Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a one vehicle traffic crash and roll over at approximately 12:55 a.m., Sunday, September 25, on Route 78, one mile south of Morrison.

A van driven by Paula Munther, 44, rural Morrison was southbound on Route 78 when she drove off the right side of the road and struck the end of a metal guardrail, then rolling over.

She was transported by Morrison Ambulance to Morrison Community Hospital were she was treated and admitted.

Munther was cited by Deputies for Improper Lane Usage, DUI and Illegal Transportation of Liquor. This is only a charge and all parties should be considered innocent until proven guilty.

Deputies were assisted by Morrison Police, Morrison Fire Department and Hunter’s Towing.
