Morrison Police Reports

On 09-19-05, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Morrison Police investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Bishop Road and Route #30. An eastbound car driven by Romulo Perucho, 33, Rock Falls, was stopped for a vehicle turning left onto Bishop Road from Route #30. A second car driven by Jayne A. Huddleston, 50, Sterling, struck the rear of the Perucho vehicle. Both drivers were injured but declined medical treatment at the scene. Both vehicles received in excess of $500 damage. Huddleston was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Huddleston is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 09-20-05, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Nathan J. Rice, Morrison, reported that someone had thrown paint into the exterior of his car while it was parked in the 500 block of East Main Street. The damage occurred some time the previous evening.
