Whiteside County Sheriff Report

On Saturday, September 3, 2003 at 5:44 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a traffic crash on Novell Road, approximately one mile West of Smaltz Road, rural Fulton.
A vehicle driven by Patrick L. Hamilton, age 25, of rural Morrison, was attempting to back from a private drive when he failed to yield for a westbound vehicle driven by Brian Spangler, also of Morrison.
Hamilton was arrested for DUI (2 counts), Failure to Yield from a Driveway and Aggravated Battery. He was transported to the Sheriff Office where he was held pending court.
Fulton Police and Midwest Collision assisted on the scene.
This arrest is merely a charge and Hamilton is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

On Sunday, September 11, 2005 at approximately 3 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies arrested Raymond L. Smith, age 30, of rural Morrison, charging him with Domestic Battery, following an incidence at his residence.
Smith was taken to the County Jail and held pending a court appearance on Monday.
This is only a charge and Smith is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
