Thirteen-Year-Old Charged with 19 Counts

On 09-02-05, Morrison Police charged a 13-year-old juvenile with nineteen (19) counts of criminal damage to property. The charges were the result of an investigation into tires slashed on 19 vehicles in the southwest neighborhoods of Morrison on May 27 and 28, 2005. The case is being referred to the Whiteside County State’s Attorney for adjudication

The Police Department will be contacting victims, by telephone or mail, to inform them of their rights as crime victims. The Police Department would also like all victims who haven’t submitted an estimate of damages from these incidents to do so at City Hall.
