Morrison Police Warn Residents of Donation Scam

The Morrison Police Department is warning residents of a possible scam involving the solicitation of donations. A local manufacturing facility was contacted, by telephone, on Thursday, August 18, 2005, purporting to represent the Police Department in the solicitation of donations to a fund for injured and disabled police officers.

The Morrison Police Department does not participate in the solicitation of funds for the benefit of police officers.
