Change to Classified Advertising

Thecity1.com has received many complaints from people who have submitted Classifieds to the site. The complaints range from people receiving emails from individuals from foreign countries interested in the item being sold in the classified, to “worms” or “spammers” who are getting into the classifieds through the hyperlink to the email address submitted and are “willing to send a certified check” for much more than the asking price.

In order to submit a classified you must put your email address in the submission form in order for it to become live but from now on when thecity1.com approves the classified we will be removing the hyperlink. If you want your email address included on the ad you submit, please include it in the body of the advertisement.
