Police Report 06-27-05

On 06-20-05, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Natasha N. Boelkins, Morrison, reported that her car was egged some time the previous night. The incident occurred while the Boelkins vehicle was parked in the Municipal Parking Lot on East Market Street.

On 06-21-05, at approximately 8:15 a.m., Scott M. Sandell, Morrison, reported that two bicycles were stolen some time the previous night. The bicycles were taken from an apartment building at 515 East Knox Street.

On 06-21-05, at approximately 6:50 p.m., James A. Geerts, Morrison, reported that someone had stolen cash from his unlocked car. The theft occurred some time the previous night while the Geerts car was parked in the 400 block of West Morris Street.

On 06-22-05, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Edward J. Hamilton, 47, Morrison, on a charge of retail theft. Hamilton was arrested after an employee of Sullivan Foods observed Hamilton leave the store without paying for food items. Hamilton was transported to the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center where he was subsequently released on a notice to appear in court. Hamilton is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 06-24-05, at approximately 6:25 a.m., a representative of Vend Omack Sales reported that someone had thrown a rock through a front window of the Vend Omack building. The damage occurred some time the previous night. The damage to the window is estimated to be $1,000.

On 06-24-05, at approximately 11:35 a.m., Natasha N. Boelkins, Morrison reported that her car was egged some time the previous night. The incident occurred while the Boelkins vehicle was parked in the Municipal Parking Lot on East Market Street.

On 06-24-05, no time of report currently available, Robbie Schultz, Morrison, reported that his pickup truck was egged some time the previous night. The incident occurred while the Schultz truck was parked in the 100 block of West Market Street.

On 06-24-05, no time of report currently available, Lindsey McDonnell, Morrison, reported that her car was egged some time the previous night. The incident occurred while the McDonnell vehicle was parked in the 500 block of South Genesee Street.
