Birthday Breakfast in the Park

Someone is celebrating their 150th birthday on Sunday, July 10, with a breakfast party at Morrison Rockwood State Park, and the public is invited.

Can you guess who? Your senses of sight, smell, or hearing will lead you to the big pavilion on the hill overlooking Lake Carlton.

The first clue will be a 9:00 A.M. gathering of friends under the shelter. Perhaps you will recognize some of the party-goers. A second clue will be the sweet smell of rolls, fresh fruit, and beverages, indicating you are in the right place.

After a tasty breakfast, clue three will occur at 10:00, accompanied by the singing of old time hymns. Did you conclude this will be an open-air, community worship service? Now, whose sesquicentennial birthday will be celebrated?

HCRUHC NAIRETYBSERP TSRIF, that’s who! Happy birthday to one and all.
