2005 Year in Review

Calling all Golf Cart and ATV Owners

Morrison Sesquicentennial is in need of a helping hand, or rather, helping wheels, during the July 8-10 celebration at the Whiteside County fairgrounds.

The sesquicentennial committee is would like to borrow 4 golf carts or ATV's. These will be used to transport water, firewood, and ice to stations throughout the weekend.

You probably won't be using your golf cart of ATV that weekend, anyway. You will be enjoying all the special activities at Morrison Rockwood State Park (Girl Scout 5K Spirit Run), on Main Street (Classic Car Show), down North Base Street (soapbox derby), along the parade route (over 70 entries have registered), and at the fairgrounds (lots of entertainment, a pageant, music, food, and fireworks.)
