By Sherry Schwartz A Recognition Dinner will be held on Friday, July 8 to recognize the businesses and individuals that have donated money to help support the Morrison Sesquicentennial. Special citizens will also be recognized for their leadership, volunteerism, and contributions to Morrison’s history. There are a lot of activities planned for July 8, 9, and 10. What better way to start it off than by recognizing individuals that have contributed their time and energy to help Morrison achieve the success that it has. This dinner is open to the public, but is limited to the first 200 reservations, so make your plans early. Tickets are $15 each. It will be held at the Northside Country Inn beginning at 6:00 p. m. with a cash bar and the buffet at 6:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Sesquicentennial Store, 218 West Main Street or by sending a check made payable to the Morrison Sesquicentennial.
