2005 Year in Review

14th Annual Lyndon Car Show.

The Lyndon Economic Advisory Panel (L.E.A.P.) is sponsoring a car show at the Village of Lyndon Park on June 5, 2005. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 12 noon. The car show will continue until 3 p.m. Prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m.

Entry fees for the car show are $12 for pre-registration and $15 for the day of the show.

Categories include: Antique Pre-1948; Original-Restored 48-54; Original-Restored 55-57; Original-Restored 58-64; Original-Restored 65-68; Original-Restored 69-79; Original-Restored 80-present; Original-Restored Trucks 65-under; Original-Restored Trucks 66-present.

Street Rods-Steel Bodies; Street Rods-Glass Bodies; Custom; Modified 49-59; Modified 60-66; Modified 67-69; Modified 70-79; Modified 80-present; Pro-Street Car-Truck (Tubbed Blower) anything through hood; Modified Truck (2 WD) (Mags-Chrome-Etc.); Custom Truck (2 WD) (Chop-Lower-Tilt-Etc.); Special Interest; Thunderbird; Corvette; Low Riders.

Motorcycles: Full Dress – Touring; Street Bike; and Antique 74 or Older.

A food stand, sponsored by the Lyndon 4-H Club will be provided throughout the event. Other local events planned for the day are the Lyndon Fire Department Pancake Breakfast at the Fire Station from 6-11 a.m. and the Lyndon Historical Society Luncheon from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the day will be going toward the Lyndon War Memorial.
