4-State Dairy Conference Set

Registration is now open for the June 15-16 Four-State Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference sponsored by University of Illinois Extension and like programs at Iowa State University, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Minnesota. The conference will be held at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

"This is a great opportunity and others involved in the dairy industry to get important, up-to-date information on nutrition and management that they can take home and put to work," said Mike Hutjens, U of I Extension dairy specialist.

This year's event is also co-sponsored by Zinpro Corp., Monsanto Dairy Business, and Papillon Agricultural Co. & MIN-AD, Inc.

"Zinpro is sponsoring a pre-conference technical symposium and Monsanto is offering a seminar in addition to the regular program," Hutjens noted.

Blocks of rooms have been reserved at two Dubuque hotels--Grand Harbor Resort (866-690-4006) and the Holiday Inn (563-556-2000).

Registration received before June 1 is $125 and $150 after that date. Registration may be completed by contacting the Wisconsin Agri-Service Association, 6000 Gisholt Drive, Suite 208, Madison, WI, 53713-4816, FAX (608) 223-1147. For additional information, contact Hutjens at (217) 333-2928.
