Last Chance to Register for Diabetes Cooking Class

If you have diabetes, selecting and preparing foods that are low in sugar, fat and sodium can be a real challenge. University of Illinois Extension, Whiteside County, will offer a series of cooking classes for people with diabetes and their family members or caretakers.

“Dining with Diabetes 2” will be held on three consecutive Mondays on March 28, April 4, and April 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Odell Library Community Room, 307 South Madison Street in Morrison. Participants will learn more about food shopping, eating out and meal planning with diabetes. To register call: 815-772-4075.
