Junior-Senior High Contest Concert |

Morrison Community School District held its Junior-Senior High Contest Concert on Thursday night, March 10 in the High School auditorium. The Junior High band started the program with the Colonel Bogey March. Members of the Southside Fifth Grade band joined in the second selection entitled Beginner’s Debut. The band finished its part of the program with Among the Clouds and Suncoast: A Rhapsody for Band. The Sixth Grade Mixed chorus was the next performers singing Oliver Cromwell, Takadamu in which Mackenzie Bridgeman, Jacob Engelkens and Emily Weets helped accompany on drums. They finished with Pirate Story. The Seventh and Eighth Grade Mixed Chorus sang A Festive Alleluia, April Is In My Mistress Face and Windy Nights. The High School Concert Choir performed next singing Ecco, Quel Fiero Istante, Barbara Allen and Risin’ Out of My Soul. The High School Robed Choir sang Father William, O Vos Omnes and Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day. Morrison High School band students finished the concert by playing Days of Glory, Barroco and Flight of Years. David Bean is the leader of the instrumental music, Darlene Palmer leads the vocal, and Cynthia Perrizo is the elementary music teacher.
