Relay for Life - Ice Queen team fund raisers

The Ice Queens, a Relay for Life team sponsored by Morrison Dairy Queen will be hosting a pancake breakfast at Dairy Queen in Morrison on March 5th from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. All proceeds will be given to the American Cancer Society.

Dairy Queen is also promoting that for every $2 donation you make to the American Cancer Society you will receive a coupon for a free Dairy Queen Grill Burger.

Every Blizzard sold from April 15-17 the Morrison Dairy Queen will donate $ .25 to the Cancer Society.

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is a nationwide community based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.

The Relay for Life will be held June 11 and 12, 2005, starting at 6 p.m. on the 11th and ending at 5 a.m. on the 12th at Rock Falls Hinder’s Athletic Field. Survivors are invited to join the team in a victory lap. For more information call Dairy Queen.

Luminaries can also be purchased for $5 in memory of a loved one of in honor of a survivor.

Money raised for this event stays in Whiteside County for education, patience services, advocacy and awareness programs.
