Magnificent Monday is a fun day of learning

In the "Learn to be a Bug" session, participants learned it wasn't easy trying to eat like a bug.

Magnificent Monday held on February 22, 2005 brought in more than 80 children to learn and participate in different sessions of their interest at the United Methodist Church. University of Illinois Extension – Whiteside County sponsors Magnificent Monday activities.

Older members of various 4-H clubs and a few adults demonstrate different learning workshops.

Workshops included making crafts, nutritious snacks, learning about horses, caring for animals and how to be a bug were just of a few of the sessions.
