In-Dept Crop Management Conference |

Producers, agribusiness dealers, crop scouts and farm managers are encouraged to attend one of the Illinois Crop Management Conferences being delivered around the state by University of Illinois Extension. The two-day conference is offered on February 22-23 at The Hamilton, Jacksonville; and on March 1-2 at Kishwaukee College Convention Center, Malta. At each location, registration starts at 8 a.m. and the programs runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This new programming effort is designed to provide in-depth, current information on a wide range of crop production topics. The format for each day includes numerous concurrent sessions to address the challenges and concerns that are most pertinent to specific locations within the state. Each session will last 80 minutes to provide time for in-depth discussion and getting answers to individual questions. Some sessions will be repeated. The advance registration fee is $75 per person. To receive the discount rate, registration and payment must be received by: February 15 for Jacksonville; and February 22 for Malta. Late registrations and walk-ins will be $100 per person. The fee includes lunch, refreshments, and program materials for both days. There is no one-day registration. Continuing education units have been requested for certified crop advisers.
