The community of Morrison has once again shown its willingness to help others. The UNICEF drive set up for Tsunami relief by Community State Bank, Whiteside News-Sentinel and thecity1.com has reached almost $700. These three entities have set a goal at $1,000 and the deadline to contribute has been extended until February 14, 2004. If you would still like to contribute to this effort donations can be dropped off or mailed (%Tsunami Relief Fund):

Community State Bank, 220 East Main Street, Morrison. The bank hours are: Lobby – Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. until noon. Drive-up and walk-up hours – Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. until noon.
Whiteside News-Sentinel, 100 East Main Street, Morrison. Office hours are: Monday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. until noon.
