Police Reports 01-31-05

On 01-27-05, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Julia Bennett, Morrison, reported that her mailbox had been damaged sometime the previous evening. Bennett estimated the damage at approximately $100.00

On 01-25-05, at approximately 7:20 a.m., Morrison Police investigated a two car accident at the intersection of Genesee Street and Wall Street,. An eastbound car driven by David C. Henriksen, 56, Port Byron struck a southbound vehicle driven by Jill A. Taets, 47, Morrison. There were no injuries as a result of the collision. Both vehicles received damages in excess of $500. Henriksen was cited for failure to yield at a stop intersection. Henriksen is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
