Student Council collecting used cell phones

Morrison High School Student Council members are running a fundraiser throughout the months of January and February to collect old cell phones from the community.

The cell phones will then be given as donations to battered women’s shelters. The phones will be given to the women in the shelters and be programmed to dial 9-1-1 in case of an emergency.

Used cell phones are being collected at all four schools in Morrison School District, Radio Shack, Sullivan’s Foods, Wells Fargo Bank and Movie Magic.
