Fillies go up 2-0 in conference

It was a tight, high scoring game. Both teams were dripping with sweat, their breaths coming in sharp pants. The gym was packed, 300 people loud. For the point guards, time seemed to stand still as they dribbled. “Dribble, dribble, dribble. PASS!” yelled the home fans, every time the opposing team touched the ball. You could feel the tension between the teams as they played down the wire. You could hear one side of the gym scream with anger, while the other cheered like crazy. And you could feel the incredible surge of energy from the visiting team and it’s fans at the end of the game when they were declared the victors.

The Fillies traveled down to Prophetstown to take on the conference rivals Lady Prophets on Tuesday, November 30th. Morrison outscored P-town in every quarter but the second.
