Fulton Tops Fillies in an Exciting Match

Morrison increased their lead to 5 by the end of the quarter, with a score of 24-19. Scoring was from Amanda Smith with 5, Michaele Vock with 4, and Abby Vock with 2.

In the start of the second half, the Steamers came out strong, coming out to a quick lead, which was increased due to sloppy defense by the fillies. Early in the fourth quarter, both teams knew that it was still anyone’s game. Kelli Nelson came out with a quick 3 pointer, to draw to within 6 points of Fulton, but Morrison’s shooting became sloppy, and the Fillies weren’t able to score, and keep up with the pace of the Steamers. In the final Minutes, there was a lot of scoring from fouls, which gave Fulton the win. The final score to the game was 50-41. Michaele Vock scored 5, Kelli Nelson had 3, and Amanda Smith finished off with 2.
