Mustangs are Crushed by Bureau Valley

The Morrison Mustangs hosted the Bureau Valley Storm for a mid-week conference matchup. Brueau Valley was looking to add another win to their great record this year, and Morrison was just hoping for a win.

From the beginning of the game, B.V. came out to a crushing lead, 10-2, and sustained at least that and a lot more throughout the entire game. The Score at the end of the first was 31-8, with the Storm possibly looking for a 100 point game. Bureau Valley stole the ball from Morrison multiple times, and scored on almost every drive down the court. The score at the half was 50-15. In the third quarter, Morrison came back slightly, scoring more than double their first half score by the end of the third, with a score of 31-67. In the fourth quarter, Morrison scored only 13 points, which didn’t bring them anywhere near the Storm’s score. Morrison had a total of 23 turnovers in the game, which spurred on a 82-44 win by Bureau Valley.

Scoring for the game goes as follows: Matt Vandermyde, 14, Luke Goessman, 8, Casey Tiesman, 5, Tim Houzenga, 5, Joe Mills, 4, John Kenseth, 3, Nate Vock, 3, and Brad Sharp, 2. The Mustangs are in action again on Saturday, January 31, at home against Newman. It is Pack the Place Night.
