Sophomore Fillies win over Amboy

Sophomore Fillies win over Amboy by twelve. The girls started the night a little slow after the tough loss the night before.

The first quarter saw Amboy score six of their seven points from offensive rebounds. Morrison only scored four points and struggled at the boards.

Coach Roddy lit a fire under the girls in the second to bring them to life and take a three point led into the locker room.

The Fillies scored seventeen points in the third to Amboy’s four. Morrison scored thirteen in the fourth for the win.

Katie Tenboer had eighteen points with ten coming in the second half when she went five of six from the field. Katie also had five rebounds, one steal, and went four for eight from the line. Kelly Tenboer had nine, six rebounds, two steals, two assists, and three for five from the line. Aimee Kyarsgaard had six, one steal and four rebounds. Heather Andersen had four, one assist, and two steals. Erica Sanchez had four and two rebounds. Lindsey Smith put in a three pointer. Jodi Medendorp had two and five rebounds. Brandy Stuart had two points. Laura Stralow pulled in two rebounds.
