H. B. Wilkinson Title Company, Inc. is the fourth-oldest Morrison Golden Business. Henry Wilkinson began its operation in 1883. Current owners are Greg Kosin and Dan Mennenoh, who lives in Galena, shown here with the Morrison staff. Vicki Wiebenga is Office Manager. Their business operates 10 offices in eight, northwest Illinois counties.

The corporation is charged with the following duties: searching public records; examining the chain of title; finding, evaluating, and solving problems relating to property acquisitions and transfers. They provide a range of title insurance, escrow closing, construction escrow, and real estate information services.

H. B. Wilkinson Title Company, Inc. possesses the only complete tract book title records in Whiteside County. The tract indices originated with the company founder, Henry Wilkinson, and continue to be used today. They comprise a complete history of the land titles in our county.
