Winning Wheels has the Christmas Spirit!

Winning Wheels - 2004 winning Christmas parade float.

The Morrison Sesquicentennial Committee received an unexpected and generous donation from Winning Wheels of Prophetstown, Wednesday December 8.

Shown in the photo is Libby Goodman, Administrator of Winning Wheels Prophetstown and Al Gapinski, President of American Health Enterprises handing a check to Bob Vaughn, Co-Chairman of the Morrison Sesquicentennial.

The overall Best of Show winner at this year's Morrison Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade last week was the Winning Wheels float. Their efforts each year on their floats are seemingly topped in creativity from the previous year and the downtown Morrison parade viewers were treated to a wonderful smoke belching and tail swinging creature this year. Mr. Gapinski stated "we wanted to give something back to Morrison" and so they did by donating their winning check from the Morrison Chamber of Commerce over to the Morrison Sesquicentennial Committee.

Mr. Vaughn expressed the gratitude of the committee and accepted on their behalf.
