Police Reports 11-29-04

On 11-23-04, at approximately 11:28 a.m., Morrison Police investigated a criminal damage to property at the concession booth of Vernon Paul Field on North Genesee Street. The damage occurred sometime during the previous night, and included damage to two doors.

On 11-23-04, at approximately 4:07 p.m., Morrison Police charged Kelly J. Wolf, 28, Erie, with one count of theft under $300. Wolf, an employee of the Dollar General Store on East Lincolnway, was charged after police received a complaint from the Dollar General District Manager of theft of items by an employee. Wolf was subsequently issued a notice to appear in court. Wolf is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 11-26-04, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Morrison Police investigated two car-deer crashes that occurred simultaneously in the 500 block of West Lincolnway. A van, driven by Debra D. Johnson, 47, Rock Falls, was westbound on West Lincolnway, when the Johnson van struck a deer crossing the highway. After the impact with the Johnson van, the deer was pushed into the eastbound lane where it was struck by a car driven by Arlyn H. Landheer, 48, Morrison. The deer was killed as a result of the crashes. No people were injured. Both vehicles received in excess of $500 damage each. There were no citations issued.
