With two dance studios in Morrison Carla Green, owner of Fusion Fitness, saw a need for a place to buy dancing supplies. Carla has had children in dance for 13 years. The closest place to obtain dance supplies was in the Quad Cities.

Carla opened Dancer’s Hut recently above Fusion Fitness. She carries tap, jazz, and ballet shoes, t-shirts, pants, tights, leotards and accessories. “If I don’t have what they need, I can order it,” stated Carla.

Dancer’s Hut also carries trinkets for gifts or stocking stuffers for the dancer in your family. Mugs, key chains, zipper clips and pins are just a few of the items Carla is carrying now, but will be receiving more before Christmas.

“By summer I hope to have enough inventory to not have to do a lot of ordering for people. I am getting more items in all of the time,” Carla said.

Dancer’s Hut is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday 8-11 a.m.; and Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The address is 123 W. Main Street.
