John Carpenter, Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Morrison and a graduate of Morrison High School is the president and founder of MCM Communications (McWilliams, Carpenter Marketing and Communications, Inc.). MCM Communications won a gold medal in the contest “Creativity 34” through Creativity Magazine for their “hot branding” concept. The award-winning submission is designed for customers and prospective customers of MCM, promising to deliver “branding tools at work” for their marketing and communications needs.
Creativity Magazine is the magazine that champions creative work and the people behind that work in advertising and related industries. The magazine is published 12 times a year and brings news, features and analysis of the worlds of advertising, production, post-production, design, photography and many other creative disciplines. It is reported that this year there were entries from 40 states and 30 countries, of which less than 10% of the awards resulted in a Creativity Gold Medal award.
