Second series in Religions of the World

Buddhism, the second largest religion, takes center stage Tuesday night, October 12th, at the Morrison United Methodist Church. The presentation and discussion will be held in the sanctuary at 7:00 pm. This is the second in the series of World Religions presented during the month of October. The sequence began with Hinduism, the third largest and second oldest religion.

Young Min Paik, a doctoral candidate in Asian theology, will be the guest presenter. Young Min Paik is a student at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He will return the following Tuesday, October 19th, for a discussion of Confucianism and Taoism.

Concluding the October issue of World Religion will be Islam. The presenter will be a Morrison native who has converted to Islam. All three programs will be at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary of the Morrison United Methodist Church.
