Morrison Police Department News Release 10-04-04

On 09-29-04, at approximately 7:46 pm, Morrison Police arrested Nathaniel I. Voss, 32, Morrison, on charges of resisting a police officer and disorderly conduct.Voss was arrested after police responded to a 911 report of a domestic disturbance at 513 Oakland Avenue. Voss was subsequently transported to the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center where he was released after posting $100 cash bond. Voss is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 10-01-04, at approximately 1:58 pm, Morrison Police received a report of a hit and run accident in the parking lot of Morrison Community Hospital. A car owned by Irma J. Tiesman, Morrison, was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked in the lot. The Tiesman vehicle received in excess of $500 damage. Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call at 772-7650.

On 10-02-04, at approximately 2:52 pm, Morrison Police cited Nicholas R. Lowery, 23, Morrison with driving while license suspended. Lowery was stopped in the 700 block of West Lincolnway. Lowery was released on a notice to appear in court. Lowery is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
