2004 Homecoming


King Matthew Kistler - Queen China Rumfelt

The 2004 Homecoming week was September 18-23. Each day of the week donned a different theme for dress-up.

Thursday night’s Thuse started at 6 p.m. with the Powder Puff Football game with the Sophomore-Juniors up against the Seniors-Freshman team.

Following the game the Class Competitions began with a Human Pyramid, Jell-O Eating, Tug of War and Obstacle Course Contests.

Performers included the Cheerleaders, Pom Pon squad, and the Band. Seventeen Senior mothers performed a Pom Pon routine to the Motley Crue song, “Girls, Girls, Girls.”

Matthew Kistler and Kendal McDearmon gave the pep talk to prepare for Friday night’s football game against Bureau Valley.

Homecoming King and Queen were then announced. King was Matthew Kistler and Queen was China Rumfelt. Freshmen attendants were Kelsey Rickels and Taylor Boyles. Sophomore attendants were Mollie McNitt and Trevor Popkin. Junior attendants were Aimee Kyarsguaard and Kenny Benson. The other senior attendants were Breanna Milnes, Zach Ashpole, Danielle Milnes, Marcus Hill, Amanda Smith, Tanner Muur, Whitney Venema and Nathan Vock. Prince and Princess Erin Beswick and Anthony Tenboer.

Thuse ended with the traditional burning of the outhouse.

The Parade will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
