Garden Club Silent Auction

John Benson's "Construction in Time #1

The Morrison Garden Club is hosting Garden Leaves to Book Leaves on Thursday, September 9, 2004. This event is a silent auction fundraiser for the club, plus a chance to get together with friends.

It will be held at the home of Sandy Crouse at 1002 Glenwood Drive, Morrison (the geodesic dome house) from 7-9 p.m.

Members and friends of the club have donated a number of auction items. Included are picture frames and pictures, handmade pillows and other garden themed items.

Local artist John Benson donated a sculpture he created titled “Construction in Time #1,” a unique piece for anyone’s garden.

Quad City Artist Camille Sant Amor will give a program on “Gardens of My Father” during the evening.

This silent auction is open to the public and there is no admission charge. Refreshments will be served.

All proceeds will go toward Garden Club projects to beautify the city of Morrison.
