College visits and planning

Columbus Day weekend (October 8 - 11) is an excellent opportunity to make campus visits. Call the prospective college to arrange for a tour. Mrs. Johannsen has a list of questions to ask when making a campus visit.

College and career planning materials are available on line, in the library and in the guidance office. Log on to collegezone.com for excellent, reputable assistance for college planning and financial aid guidance.

Mrs. Johannsen will meet with seniors during the homeroom period Tuesday, September 7th. Information for college planning will be discussed.

Mrs. Johannsen will attend the Illinois Universities articulation conference on September 22nd. Each of the 12 state universities in Illinois will be represented. The director of admissions for each school will speak about any new developments or changes on their campuses as well as the admissions application process.

Deadline for the October 23rd ACT is September 17th.
