Rich Criss to perform at Emmanuel Reformed

Emmanuel Reformed Church, 202 E. Morris St., invites the area to attend a concert performed by Christian Artist Richard Criss of Rich Criss Ministries to be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2004 in the air conditioned sanctuary of the church.

Criss, a native of Fulton, is well known throughout the area as a dynamic vocalist and pianist. Criss features a very eclectic program for his concerts, which is intended to reach all ages.

Criss began serving as church organist at First Reformed Church in Fulton at the age of 15. After graduating from Fulton High School in 1988, he attended Northern Illinois University majoring in vocal music education where he was selected to be pianist for the nationally acclaimed “Northern Lights” show choir and, as a sophomore, was elected president and student director of the University Chorus.

Criss uses Christian music and his own experiences and mistakes to encourage, uplift and provide a Source of Hope to those strong or struggling in their own faith.

The public is invited to join the congregation of the Emmanuel Reformed Church in Morrison for what promises to be an evening of inspiration.

For more information, please call the church office at 772-3890.
