Police Reports 08-03

On 08-03-04, at approximately 12:05 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Nelson T. Grismore II, 19, Morrison, on three counts of unlawfully permitting a minor to become intoxicated. Grismore was arrested after police investigated a report of a 14-year-old juvenile who was treated for alcohol poisoning in the Morrison Hospital Emergency Department during the early morning hours of 07-19-04.

Unlawfully permitting a minor to become intoxicated is a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of $2,000 and/or up to 364 days in jail. Grismore was incarcerated in the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center in lieu of $100 cash bond. Grismore is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
