Hidden Hollow Horse Trials

Are you at a loss for something to do this weekend? Do you like horses?

Hidden Hollow Horse Trials will be going on Saturday and Sunday, July 24-25. One hundred nineteen riders from all over the Midwest will be competing in this Equestrian event. It is sanctioned by USEA (United States Eventing Association).

The competition starts Saturday morning with Dressage Competition at 8 a.m. and Cross Country Jumping will start at 10:30 a.m. Sunday will be Stadium Jumping, which will begin at 9 a.m.

Hidden Hollow is located off of Rt. 30 West, Morrison, to Hillside Road North through Union Grove about five miles. Signs will be posted from Rt. 30. Hidden Hollow is owned by Dr. Valerie Rodgers and Dr. Robert Alt.

Admission is free. A concession stand is available on the site. No dogs are allowed and children must be accompanied by an adult.
