Scouts hold camp out

Scout Pack 328 held their annual family overnight campout on Friday, June 25, 2004, at Rockwood State Park.

Scouts and their families took part in many camping activities such as games, walking the trails, biking, fishing and many more.

The pack did their cooking over an open fire, which included hotdogs and s’mores.

The scouts will be holding a Cub Scout Day Camp from July 20-23, 2004, at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the times are from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. On Friday the camp will be held from 11:45 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Scouts are asked to wear tennis shoes and no sandals.

They will also be hosting a Rocket Launch on Aug. 27, 2004, at 5 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. The pack provides the rockets.
