Two charged following June 10 accident |

Two people were charged following the investigation of the six-vehicle accident that occurred on June 10, 2004. Twelve people were sent to area hospitals following the chain reaction accident, which happened on US Highway 30 and Creamery Road in Morrison. According to Illinois State Police, Randy E. Kleist, 43 of Highland, WI who was the driver of the straight truck was charged with Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. Also Kenneth R. Gebhardt, 69, Sterling, was charged with Following too Closely after he struck the Kleist vehicle from behind. by Dawn Zuidema, theCity1.com |
