2004 Year in Review

Morrison Vacation Bible School

The Churches of Morrison are getting ready for another five exciting days of community Vacation Bible School. Beginning Monday, July 26th through Friday, July 30th, Vacation Bible School will be held at the air-conditioned Northside School in Morrison, Illinois, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. each evening.

This year’s theme is “God’s All-Star Champions; Training to Win God’s Way!” Children age 4 years to those entering the 6th Grade are invited to join in the fun and exercise as they train for Soccer, Bicycling, Softball, Field Hockey, and Mountaineering. The fun, active experiences will help children learn about Jesus’ love and how to live their lives for Him by wearing the Armor of God.

By exploring the skills and techniques of five different sports, children will become athletes engaged in fun games, meaningful activities, cool crafts, and creative snacks —all with one purpose — to learn about living and winning God’s way.

Registration forms are available in Morrison at Community State Bank, Metro Bank, Morrison City Building, Odell Public Library, Wells Fargo Bank, and the churches of Morrison. No child will be turned away for inability to pay. Scholarships are available. Registrations fees are $10.00 per child but no more than $20.00 per family if received by July 16th. Registrations received after July 16th will be $15.00 per child but no more than $25.00 per family. Registration fees include all materials and a T-Shirt. Children are encouraged to bring their school supplies (crayons, scissors, markers, glue, etc.)
