Exelon Communications Mgr headlines Chamber Luncheon

The Morrison Chamber of Commerce will host a business luncheon for both members and non-members on Thursday June 17. Mr. Bill Stoermer, Communications Manager for the Quad Cities Generating Station in Cordova is the guest speaker.

Mr. Stoermer, with 23 years of service with Exelon will have a slide presentation and speak regarding security measures implemented by Exelon Corporation at the nuclear generating plant over the past two years. Approximately one third of the plant's employees live in the Morrison area.

The 12:00 Noon event is being held at Northside Country Inn restaurant. A buffet lunch is included with total cost for chamber members $2.00 and non-members $6.50. This business seminar is part of a continuing series hosted by the Morrison Chamber of Commerce. Reservations are not required however a courtesy call to RoAnn at the chamber office is appreciated if you would like to attend (772-3757).
