Spring Valley Hayshakers donate tree

Spring Valley Hayshakers 4-H club members who gathered beside the tree they donated are: l-r - Katie Zuidema, Kayla Hoffman, Jessie Zuidema, Samantha Sumption, Kayla Meurs, Reid Hoffman, Emily Sterenberg, Ashley Vegter, Zack Meinsma, Kendra Meurs, Mitch Meinsma.

The Spring Valley Hayshakers 4-H Club donated an Autumn Purple White Ash tree to help shade the newly established WHOA Horse Arena located at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds.

The club would like to give special thanks to Spangler’s Landscaping for delivering and planting the tree and the Whiteside County Fairgrounds for allowing the club to plant the tree.
