Dr. Bleecker establishes office in Morrison

Bob Vaughn welcomes Dr. Jim Bleecker to Morrison

Bob Vaughn, president of Morrison Chamber of Commerce, welcomed Dr. Jim Bleecker to Morrison Tuesday afternoon as Dr. Bleecker introduced himself to theCity1.com office. Dr. Bleecker recently moved to Morrison from Wausau, WI after completing a one-year residency program with Allied Health Chiropractic Centers.

He grew up in Memphis, TN and completed his Masters Degree in Counseling and spent over 15 years as a Counselor and Therapist. Eventually, he moved to the Quad Cities where he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic graduating in 1996. In looking for a small town for his practice he chose Morrison. Dr. Bleecker also has two children: Julie 22 and Jimmy 16.

Dr. Bleecker works with his patients to design a treatment program that will be effective for their particular condition. He utilizes manual and lower force adjustment techniques, deep tissue massage, electrical muscle stimulation in the treatment of the spine, musculoskeletal injuries and various other conditions. According to Dr. Bleecker spinal alignment can relieve stress in other parts of the body. He also provides patients with nutrition and exercise recommendations.

Since his move to Morrison he has joined the Morrison Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys exercising and reading in his leisure time. Dr. Bleeker is anxious to be an active partner in Morrison business and civic affairs and has already volunteered to help with the Sesquicentennial Committee. He states, “there is no better way to learn about Morrison and the citizens about me than to volunteer myself to worthwhile community groups.”
