Morrison Police Report 06-01

On 5/30/04, the Polo, IL Police Department arrested Jared W. Farthing, 25, Rockford, IL, on a Whiteside County issued warrant charging Farthing with Child Support in Arrears Greater Than $20,000, a Class 3 felony. The warrant was issued on May 24 following an investigation by the Morrison Police Department into Farthing’s failure to make child support payments. Farthing was subsequently released after posting $1,000 cash bond. Farthing is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 5/30/04, at approximately 8:33 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Brad A. Decker, 39, Morrison, on a charge of domestic battery. Decker was arrested after police responded to a domestic dispute at Stuart Apartments on East Lincolnway. Decker was subsequently transported to the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center pending an appearance before a judge. Decker is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
