Morrison High School seniors, with a total of 39 years of service to their club, were honored at the MHS Key Club Honors Banquet. The Banquet and potluck was held at Odell Library Community Room. Retiring president, Kelly Oudekerk, led the meeting for her last time.
Advisors Gwenn Rickertsen and Kris Burke-Bielema honored seniors: Heidi Benson (2 years), Merrie Bunt (4 years), Ryan Damhoff (2 years), Beth Davis (4 years), Tricia Deter (2 years), Kelsey Dykema (2 years), Kellie Kyarsgaard (3 years), Katey Miller (3 years), Linsdey Muur (3 years), Kelly Oudekerk (3 years), James Steinhaus (4 years), Jodi Vandermyde (2 years), Sarah Wagenecht (1 year), Bethany Weisel (3 years), and Dana Wolf (2 years) with graduation sashes and pins.
President Oudekerk installed new officers for 2003-04: President, Matt Kistler; Vice-President, Katie Bunt and Larry Gatz; Recording Secretaries; Emily Miller and Emma Lea VanZuien; Statistical Secretaries; Julianna Karvelius and Brianna Tichler; Treasurer, Bridgett Wood; Historian/Scrapbook, Liz Lee; and Public Relations/Media, Bert Thorndike.
After playing a version of scavenger hunt for the flowering plant centerpieces, President Kistler closed his first meeting with the ringing of the bell.
Key Club is a service organization affiliated with Kiwanis.
