The class of 2004 attended part of their senior right of passage Sunday, May 16, 2004, by attending Baccalaureate Service in the High School Auditorium.

Seniors Brad Eissens, Heidi Benson, Jodi Vandermyde, Megan Goodenough, Tricia Deter, and Katie Miller led the service by reading scriptures, prayers, and readings. Emmanual Reformed Praise Team provided upbeat Christian music. A slide show titled “Who am I?” by Emily Frederick and Merrie Bunt showed the growth of the seniors from baby pictures to senior pictures.

Julie Bunt, associate pastor at the United Methodist Church, gave the main sermon, “Standing at the Crossroads”. She told the seniors “You are the hope and future. You inspire us and we are proud of you.” She encouraged the students “to try new things and I encourage you to attend church. But whatever you do God will be with you.”
